Dream Car
Our founder became intrigued by the automotive industry when he purchased his first vehicle, a 1966 Ford Mustang, for $500. He was a junior in high school. The car was inoperable, but with help from his grandfather, he was able to restore the Mustang and still enjoys driving it today!

Early Success
InteliChek's founder got his first job out of college with Auto America, a weekly television show dedicated to “America’s love affair with the Automobile.” The connections he made throughout his early career led him to working directly with automotive industry leaders he had admired from afar and only dreamed about meeting.
Innovation
At 29 years old, he decided to walk away from his secure salaried job and paid benefits to become an entrepreneur.
Within a year, our founder had established his first program for one of the largest automotive companies in the world.

From Myth to Business
InteliChek's founder became fixated on solving the myth that dealership services are twice as expensive as other service providers.
After calling hundreds of dealers and aftermarket service providers, he learned dealers, in most cases, are only 15%-25% higher, NOT TWICE AS HIGH, for the same service, on the same vehicle as their aftermarket service provider counterparts. He was involved with countless focus groups and learned that customers are willing to buy their services from their local dealer if they can see and believe they are competitive with the other local service providers.
He saw an opportunity to help dealerships get more customers by knowing what their competitors were charging, and what they were saying to their customers to gain their business. Now he is helping repair shops as well as dealerships.
InteliChek is Born
InteliChek was awarded a job from a large OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) to study how a program like this could help their dealers. So after prototyping and testing results, InteliChek found its sweet spot, comparing a dealer's service prices with local service providers to help the dealers understand what their competitors are charging.
